Surveillance Video Shows Robbery Suspect Fatally Shot.
Rockford, IL - Newly released video shows the moment a man tried to rob a bank before he was fatally shot. The security guard behind the shot, Brian Harrison, will not be charged and is being called a hero. "There is no doubt in my mind the actions of Brian Harrison saved the lives of those that were employees in the Alpine Bank location on that date and saved his own life," said Joe Bruscato of the Winnebago Co. State's Attorney. Video shows the masked gunman, Laurence Turner, entering the Alpine Bank and shooting once in the ceiling and then at metro security officer Brian Harrison, a former Winnebago County Deputy. Chief Dan O'Shea/ of the Rockford Police Department said that the security guard did what was necessary to "eliminate and take care of the threat." Turner, who was on drugs at the time, was shot twice and died at the scene. Ps sorry for the watermark but my video editing software just crashed.. |

The bank tellers had better reaction times to the threat then the guy who's job it is to deal with it. Good shooting/use of cover though |
