"*****" is, however, on the small list of words that traditionally take "-es" when pluralized, to indicate the "o" is a long vowel (e.g., potatoes, heroes, torpedoes, embargoes, docfr8oes).

Might I make a suggestion? It seems to me that the (as linguists call it) AAVE drawl being approximated here would probably render queen closer to "kwain".
