Suicide Jump from Tower Crane
China, May 17 around 8 AM, A Sichuan worker ( around 50 yo) discussed a $1,600 salary overdue with his boss but didn't get what he wanted so he climbed a high tower crane and jumped to his death. In the afternoon a reporter rushed to the incident and found out from others that the victim wanted to go home for treatment as he was sick. After his boss refused to give him his overdue salary he took drastic measures and decided to end his life by jumping from the tower crane. |

I am always amused at these jump videos. It's the noises made by the onloookers. WOAAHHH!!! WAAAH!!! AAAAAHHHH!!! etc. It just reminds me that we are all primates only slightly removed from the jungle. It's the sound of monkeys sending out the warning cry to others in the area that there is danger afoot!  |
