Re: Suicide Jump from 25th-floor of Embassy Suites Hotel, Philadelphia
I'm with you on the science part man... Article says he jumped from the 25th floor. A floor of a commercial building would be 10 ft each at the very least. 250 ft seems like a good estimate, IMHO. He does seem to dismember upon impact. At least, to my eyes. |

I live in Las Vegas and there have been six off the Stratosphere (one as recently as last year) even with the extremely high angled nets you have to climb over. Suicide and murder-suicide are extremely common here. People get hotel rooms and shoot themselves, hang themselves, and do just about everything else you can imagine, but you are correct that the windows don't open in the rooms except for in the highest suites. They don't worry about high rollers taking dives. Parking garages are the popular jumper spots.

The reaction of the black people was the icing on the cake of this video, I give it a 8.5/10.

When i first heard that siren i thought someone had added that noise you hear on cartoons when somethings falling Would be interesting to see how many bones were broken, to see how shattered we ended up, that was a mighty big thud! |
