Suicide Car Bomber Attack on Kurdish Syrian Border Town of Kobani
Islamic State militants launched a massive suicide attack on the Kurdish Syrian border town of Kobani yesterday, its first raid there since being driven out 5 months ago. About 36 Isis fighters riding in a convoy of five vehicles drove into Kobani just after dawn, detonating one car bomb next to the border crossing with Turkey before fanning out around the town, firing randomly. A total of 15 people were killed and four others died in hospitals in Turkey. |
