Suicidal Woman Jumps from Building
China, A woman (20) suffering a depression jumped from a building to commit suicide. She worked at some restaurant and was very quiet and sometimes cried. She and a manager went to headquarters to collect their paycheck but on returning to the restaurant the manager noticed the woman was missing so she called the woman's mother to ask if she went home. She didn't and her mother told the manager that her daughter was on anti depressiva for almost a year but not taken them the past few days. Not much later she was spotted outside the building where eventually she jumped to her death. |

Re: Suicidal Woman Jumps from Building
It has been shown that sometimes you come out of the suicidal state just before you actually do it. Especially men and guns where they blow half their face off because they moved at the last second. Or after you cut your wrists you wake out of it. Sad thing about depression and mental illness is that if a person truly gets to this point, there is little you can do to bring them back. They have to do it or they will do it all over again. |

"her mother told the manager that her daughter was on anti depressiva for almost a year but not taken them the past few days" Oh, taking your anti depressants for a year, like clock work, than just stopping even just a few days, your mind is totally screwed. I remember running out of my meds and having to wait like a week because I was out of state. It took so much for me not to go fuck off and die somewhere. My brain was just...my emotions were drowning me...it was one of the most terrible things I experienced. And also I had been on them for like a year. Anyway...moral is...abruptly stopping the meds really attacks yourself, your brain, your soul...it's very frightening. |

Re: Suicidal Woman Jumps from Building
I unfortunately was in a situation where I had to quit my anti-depressants cold turkey. I was on Effexor (or as the doctors called it Side-Effexor) and I went through hell. It put me into a schizophrenic-like state with voices and hallucinations. So through all that on top of being in such a depressed state. I still have my scars from it.

5 stories is too close to the ground. I bet you have a good chance of surviving that fall. If I ever off myself jumping off a building, best believe it's the Empire State Building.
