Suicidal Man Who Jumped from Dallas Bridge Onto the Interstate Run Over by Cars
Dallas, A suicidal man who jumped from the High Five shut down Central Expressway at LBJ Freeway on Thursday night, police said. The man got out of his vehicle on an overpass about 8:30 p.m. and jumped off onto the highway where he was struck by several vehicles. He died at the scene. The incident temporarily closed four northbound lanes of the highway, according to TxDOT. The backup stretched almost to the Royal Lane exit and was cleared by 12:30 a.m. No details were initially released about what caused the backup, and the dead man's name has yet to be released. |
