Saddam’s head didn’t detach though.

It’s been years and years since I last saw the footage, but after they abruptly drop him through the trapdoor mid-prayer they run down to where his body is hanging and stick the camera in his face.

Absolutely not man.

If you watch the video frame by frame, when his head detaches it first blends with the brown window shutters on the building in the background. It gives the illusion that the head disappears for a millisecond, but it’s because the back of his head and brown hair color blends with the shutters serving as a backdrop at the moment of detachment, so it’s briefly difficult to see.

The head is then spinning across the black siding of the building he jumped from for a few frames, so it’s again somewhat obscured, but there is nothing fishy about the footage to suggest the scene was faked or the video edited.

I’m using my phone to go frame by frame, and everything is clearly visible to me despite the relatively small screen.

Absolutely not. I work in a similar industry and after 30+ years of experience I can categorically say this video is not faked. If you do work in the field you say, you must be extraordinarily shit at your job.

And why would somebody alter a 'more gruesome' scene with something that is already macabre beyond belief ?
