You don't need to be allergic... 5+ good stings can do the job. The guy got about 20+ by the looks of it.

His family will always remember him for the wise words : " OOoo-Oooo-ooo" accompanied by plastic bottle banging.
5 stings won't kill you if you aren't going to get Anaphylaxis, stings hurt a bit then that's it for the majority of the human race, he got a tad more than 20 and I bet he WAS allergic.
