Maybe from those crazy Japanese hornets, but the average person can take 4-6 stings per lb. Yes, and my brother, at 6 years old, was stung, ironically, 7 times on his chest and belly when wasps got stuck in his shirt. I still remember it, I was walking right next to him when he started freaking out... 7 stings is definitely not a max for the normal person - but technically 7 could kill. It depends on what insect is doing the stinging, how sensitive you are, how ill you may be, age, and many of the usual variables like medication interactions or whatever. |

You can become allergic to bee venom at any time. Taking a bunch of stings can be fine all the other times and deadly the next. Anaphylaxic shock happens to the best of us. |
