I look back at old home movies on my mom's Schwin, she had one of those sort of "car seat"-looking baby holders, and I thought THOSE were dangerous...that pic takes the biscuit!

I remember riding on the rack of my uncles 10 speed, I remember when my foot got caught in the back tire spokes and almost fracture my (L) leg.

I also remember my moms 10 speed with that same seat you are talking about. It ws metal and looked like a miniature folding chair with a seatbelt.
