I think it was because she was seen talking to boys. I think I saw a clip about it on YT from CNN. Think it was said a few men were arrested and some of them were her own relatives. It's really sick. Disgusting. Back in HS I would walk home with one of my only friends that I ever had. So one afternoon I get home, my "dad" starts screaming at me. Saying all these disgusting things about me bec I was seen walking home with a boy. (My grandpa was the one who told him). So there I am terrified, "dad" was scary. I said my friend is gay, hes gay (he was gay). My "dad" turns it to me being gay since I like gays. Fucking sick. I bring this up because my dear dear dad supported honor killings. Sometimes there would be a story in the newspaper about a woman being stoned to death. Dear "dad" would make comments that we could hear about how he wishes it could be legal in the States. I have no doubts that he wouldn't have minded having me stoned to death. WTF is wrong with men? They are only men when they beat up women and girls, stone them, bury them alive, torture them, shoot them? They are only men when they know they have traumatized and terrorized you?  |

Sorry to hear that minka. Some people are just plain crazy. No heart. Wish they had a sign on their forehead so we could just try and help them, or lock them up. Or gather em up and blow em up could work too.
