Stiff Body Dragged from Creek
On the morning of this Wednesday (24), a man preliminarily identified as AAM, was found floating in the creek on the São Jorge bridge, west of Manaus. The body was found by people passing by. A cousin of the victim, recognized him, and he said that A already had a history with the police for the crime of robbery. The police were called to attend to the occurrence, the body contained marks of accretion and perforations, a team from the Specialized Police Station for Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS) and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) carried out the removal of the body from the stream. The Amazon Military Fire Department was called, however, it took a while to arrive at the scene. The body will be removed to the IML for expertise, to know the real cause of death. The crime will be investigated by DEHS.       |
