Re: Sticks, Stones and a Pickaxe, Oh My!
Yep, you are right, the woman in the main post is in actual fact the woman from my thread here: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...-slept-215398/ I thought she looked familiar when I was getting photos from her FB profile this morning to make a collage to put in my thread. The photo of the actual victim is here: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...ml#post6764130

Aha! I've found the girl's FB profile! Here's translations from 2 news articles, 2 photo collages of her plus a video of her with her boyfriend (who, by looking at the comments, seems to have recently died also). KC - Feel free to put any of this in the main post, mate.

Re: Sticks, Stones and a Pickaxe, Oh My!
We ought to remember that we're talking about a girl who just recently, was still a beautiful, vibrant human being—a delight to behold. Let us not trivialize her death, sensationalize it or glorify the manner in which it occurred either. She is not a character in a video game—she was a living, breathing, charming and very real, flesh-and-blood girl. She had a family, loved ones and a mother who grieves her now (assuming her mom is alive). Watching this made me very sad—and I'm a hardened bastard. |

Re: Sticks, Stones and a Pickaxe, Oh My!
I am not new at all, but it was definitely not my intention to generalize or paint everyone here with the same brush. I was only responding to what he wrote, and how it affected me personally. I don't know what she did to elicit that level of hatred and brutality—and I, for one, don't even flinch anymore—but it simply made me very, very sad to see her be extinguished. I thought she had a beautiful, radiant face and a most generous smile. Life itself would've been a little more bright with her still in it. |
