There are plenty of other American beheadings available that aren't being censored. Nick Berg. Eugene Armstrong. It's not because they are American. It's because of the timing and political situation and there is no good plan at the moment.

People, think about what you say before you say it. I think this video is faked in that Sotloff wasn't beheaded until after he was dead. And I think all of the hostages were killed at the same time. But I see so many people on here saying "Obama doesn't want people to see this because it will show how inept he is"....or other equally ridiculous sentiments. People seem to think that Obama is worried that this video would "out" him as being a bad president or something, but Obama has people on television all day, every day, going on about how inept or horrible he is. This isn't being censored to protect Obama's image. It's amazing to me that so many posters act outraged at what ISIS is doing, but then go on to comment in ways that show that they feel exactly as ISIS does. These videos are obviously propaganda. ISIS is banking on people seeing the victims saying "I'm going to die and it's the government's fault" and believing that the victims are really saying those things of their own free will. That's why they only imply that there is a beheading and cut out any of the graphic footage--it isn't important for what they are trying to get out there (and as I said, I don't believe the beheadings actually happened until after the victims were dead).

Or you could just talk to the family's of the beheaded journalists that have been well involved in media for YEARS and find out if they've seen James Foley or Steven Sotloff lately. These people are real. They were journalists, and they have been beheaded. This is not fake. Their family's are very real and have already spoken to the media about the horrible news. So what...the US is now beheading it's own citizens and british citizens so they could..what? Invade Iraq again...because...huh? Do you know who Isis is? Do you even know what they have been doing in Iraq for the past couple years? Do you know who the Yazidis are? Geez. You gotta love when people get ALL of their information from conspiracy websites and only comment on tidbits of a story and leave out the other 99% of the facts. US wants no part of another Iraq war. Too Co$tly. The last thing they would do is pull some stunt to persuade public in favour of invading Iraq again. They just know Isis needs to be stopped but there is no apparent solution. |

You would die definitely. But you would die from radiation poisoning after the remaining water on the planet starts to glow in the dark from radioactive fallout. Nukes no longer exist or else we no longer exist. Additionally, your hatred for all the innocent people that were born on that particular part of the planet is equal to that of Isis. They only care about themselves, just as you do. Look in the mirror, that is what Isis looks like. Congrats. |
