Who knows? The fact they do not show the head being cut off could signal it didn't happen. It's much easier to have a fake blood covered head look real vs faking the full act of beheading. However, I think from a marketing / social media standpoint ISIS is smart to not show the full beheading. The low gore version will get a lot more circulation and views than a full on beheading video. I think there are two possible options. If it is fake it is because there are worsening economic conditions in USA and we need to start up a new war to distract the sheep and pump more money into the war industrial complex. What better way to get everyone in the USA to rally behind another war than to have Americans beheaded? The second option is that ISIS is more media savvy and using the low gore video for wider distribution and circulation; they are just a bunch of crazy bastards and that is how they are rolling now. We won't know the truth for another 50 years or maybe never. |
