Actually all of you ignorant, insulated passport free assholes don't know what you're talking about. Thailand is a very kind country. Much more so than the US. They are also deeply Buddhist, and are taught not to overly concern themselves with a transitory life. It's just a transitory step between levels of enlightenment. |

I suspect that it may be the same as it is in China - if you help out then you are liable. You could end up having to pay medical/insurance fees or even worse, be held accountable for what happened. It's not people being uncaring, it's beyond their means to help.
