Speeding, Redlight Running Coca Cola Delivery Truck Fatally Hits a Biker
Mexico, A speeding, redlight running Coca Cola delivery truck driver hit a motorcyclist, approx. 50, who died at the scene. The vehicle involved is a delivery truck of the Coca-Cola soft drink company. The young driver of this truck was identified as Noé. He and his co-worker were speeding and without any precaution ignored the redlight when at that moment the victim was riding his Kurazai motorcycle. The impact of the truck with the motorcycle caused the motorcyclist's body to hit a post and the asphalt, causing trauma and injuries that caused his death, almost immediately. Those responsible for seeing what they had done stopped the truck and were confronted by the citizens who witnessed everything and demanded that they take responsibility for their act. The driver was detained and placed at the disposal of the authorities to determine his legal situation. Paramedics arrived at the place, but these only certified the death of the male who was covered with a blue sheet and was transferred to the morgue. The circulation of the boulevards was paralyzed for a few hours as the errands were being carried out, after a time it reopened to normal. The person in charge, named Noé, was fired from the soft drink company. He was discharged without withdrawal and without a letter of recommendation. Karina, daughter of the deceased motorcyclist, told that neither the soft drink company nor the lawyers have approached her family. They do not know under what arguments the driver, guilty of the death of her father, was released. |

FIRED!!! I would think companies would VALUE employees who get the job done, regardless of impediments. (An impediment is, like, an old guy on a motorcycle, or some 5 year olds on their way to kindergarten, or similar obstacles in the pathway to the pursuit of profit) |

I never trust little red lights to stop ten tons of truck going 45 mph. You've got to look around.

When I'm on my bike, at every intersection, I am looking for the cement truck with 8 smoking tires, or the semi, with 18 smoking tires, that is trying to spoil my day. (I know it won't spoil HIS day. He'll still be stopping at Taco Bell on his lunch break.) (ME, I'll be LOOKING like a taco)
