Re: Special Forces Killing Taliban Upclose
Yes indeed. CAG (Delta), Devgru, and SAD (CIA Ops) are all listed under the "Tier 1 asset" category while US Army SF is somewhere at 1.5, as with other special warfare groups like normal SEAL teams and such.

Are you trying to say special forces dont need medics? Anyway, they look like special forces to me, the way they're dressed, not in an army uniform. They are sf or civilian contractors, but i dont think they've outsourced the training of the afgahni's to civilian's yet? Or have they? |

Re: Special Forces Killing Taliban Upclose
Ya 1 man shooting, better call in a B2. And why use JDAM, when you can send in a Tomahawk! On a serious note, USARSF are trained to fight with indigenous forces and A-stan is the perfect place with so many tribes all over. Look at OP JawBreaker in 01. Why would you leave such a task to a grunt, when refusing to eat the local food could result in an insult to the local populence and a revolt to follow? The video is simple, he has rails on his kevlar and a cam attached. These guys arn't secret, like Kai Wolf said. Tear 1:Delta/Devgru/SAD/JTAC's/AFO's. Tear 2:Force Recon/Seals/Army SF/160 SOAR/75th Rangers/PJ's. Tear 3:Regular Grunts.

Re: Special Forces Killing Taliban Upclose
It is illegal to send out contractors for direct action missions. That would make them mercs. As long as NATO is there you won't see that type of shit happening. The Advisors have to belong to a nation's military incase they fuck up, that nation can be held responsible. BTW SF medic selection is on par with civie surgeon schools and are required for an ODA to operate in the field.
