Agree totally. The sound of that poor magpie dying was distressing to me, much more than a beheading. But nature is nature and the hawk's got to eat. I watched a hawk knock a mourning dove out of the sky and rip it's feathers out of it while it was alive, then it flew off with the poor thing. The were feathers everywhere. |

I know nature is what it is, but I think I'd have hucked a handful of rocks to break that up based on the noise alone.
