Yes. At least one of the January 6th defendants identified themselves as Sovereign Citizens and tried to use that in court, and there was a great collective eyeroll and that was the end of that strategy.

Here is the audio of DA's (mother of CA) bench trial conducted per her lawsuit (attached) against the Farmington Police Department for her similar traffic stop on 04-07-2022. CA can be heard beginning around 06:30. He was ultimately arrested for disrupting the proceedings. |
