South Africa - 2 Men decapitated + Set Alight
On the afternoon of 4th January 2021 in Shallcross (Durban, South Africa), 62 year old Y.P. (AKA Teddy Mafia), an alleged drug-lord, was shot twice in his head, outside his home. He died shortly after he arrived at the hospital.    Later that day, his neighbours formed a mob + avenged his death by beheading the 2 men responsible. One of the men's heads + both of the men's bodies were then set alight. Police found the other man's head in a plastic bag.    'Y's funeral took place on the 7th.    On 30th April 2020, 'Y's home was raided. Police found "unlicensed firearms, R700,000 cash, and gold and silver coins with an estimated value of R250,000." He was charged with illegal possession of firearms + ammunition. He was released on R5,000 bail + had to report to the local police station twice a week. In March 2019, 'Y's son, 38 year old D.L.P., was shot dead in a drive-by shooting, outside his home.

Quite possible this company did more at supporting the community, than say, politicians and LE. Would be interesting to know how they knew it was these 2 guys and who are they to the CEO and why did they do it. |
