I have thought that about many of these videos. They have the cash to buy military grade weapons from the black market, but can't buy a quality camera from ebay...

^^ this isn't true.. the drug cartels want the public to think they only kill the guilty but really most of their victims are actually innocents who are picked up off the street. Regular honest people like small-business entrepreneurs, cooks, mechanics, dentists, truck driver, house painters, and construction workers among others.

The drug cartels want the public to think they only kill drug dealers, murderers, and only those who are connected to the drug trade so that the government will lose the support of the public. The cartels want the public to pressure the government to relieve pressure on the cartels in order to end the violence. If the public thinks the cartels only kill their own, they will be motivated to let the cartels carry on their business as long as the government relieves their pressure and the senseless killings stop.

These guys are ruthless killers and drug dealers, don't believe everything they say. Many of the people being killed in these videos are guilty of crimes, but most aren't.
