Snow Bank Falls from Roof Killing a Pedestrian
Turkey, A man died in the eastern province of Bitlis’ Tatvan, on Monday, after a snow bank fell onto him. Reportedly, the incident took place in the morning when a snow bank along with iron bars, which ironically, were put on the roof to prevent falling, fell from the sixth floor. The man, 60, was walking when was hit by snow weighing several tons. Seriously injured the man was rushed to the hospital by the locals but could not resist. A car was also crushed on the same street after tons of snow slid onto the road last Saturday. No one was injured in that incident. |

Well, you want to make sure and collect and retain as much snow as possible on the roof. This way it will accumulate until the restraints fail, as in this case, or the weight becomes great enough to crush the roof and collapse the building. Very Third World, Turkey.
