It is possible. There's a documented instance of famous Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock shooting a NVA sniper right through the enemy's scope. For it to happen both men would have had to been zeroing in on each other at the same time, and Hathcock just happened to fire first.

It is physically impossible for a bullet of any caliber to penetrate the amount of lenses in a rifle scope. That sniper from Vietnam also claimed to have done this but never provided any proof of his most elaborate kills, although he had many stories that seem borderline impossible, also claiming to have gone solo on missions without a spotter, no one to back up his ridiculous claims. Bullet through scope=Impossible. Period. |
