He may have seen it coming, but being overloaded and at lower speeds, the maneuverability & balance of the moped would take much more response time, distance, and effort to make a successful evasive action.

You can see the bike start to wobble before impact so the guy saw what was coming. Unfortunately he learned the hard way that motorcycles make poor family sedans. |

You'd be disgusted a the responses on Facebook in the Philippines about it being the bikers fault because it was overloaded, and 'mistakes happen' and other bullshit excuses! Turned out the driver was drunk, but the worst thing is they didn't even take a look at the injured people, too busy gasbagging amongst themselves, consoling their own shocked passengers and concocting some bullshit excuse, no doubt! Eventually they paid off the victims family and walked free, to kill again with impunity. Money talks, in corrupt third world shit holes! I lived there for 18 of the last 24 years. |
