I totally understand taking a nooner to catch up on sleep, but theres a time and a place. Honestly, this incident could have possibly been avoided if the guard was awake and standing a proper watch.. Just sayin'

Correct. If you’re protecting atms, which I’m sure have a lot of cash in them, otherwise have a guard employed to protect them, you’re going to have to assume somebody may come armed and ready to commit violence in order to do so.

My husband has had to stand watch at times...24+hours, but will take turns with his co workers to take short naps.

From the security camera, it looked like one person guarding both ATMs. If there were two workers, there probably would’ve been a room for one to sleep in whilst the other keeps watch. He’s obviously gotten used to sleeping on the job. He has a bed set between the two machines ffs! This just wasn’t his night.
