Interesting, but since when do skydiving outfits just allow you to keep their expensive gear? They just bought your story, no questions asked? I've never heard of jumpers that weren't held accountable for replacing lost / cutaway equipment, and it seems even rarer that they'd allow someone to take it home. |

Oh, they "didn't let me keep it". I paid for it - my pride cost me $1,600 dollars, lol.. I apologize; I left out many details I jufged as nonessential or implied in the interest of brevity. because I was typing on my phone. Which is also why my post is full of typos. |

Thank god we have so many physicists making comments to let us know a body traveling fast will get fucked up if it hits an immobile object.
