Skydiver Dies when Crashing into a Pole of Airfield Administrative Building
An experienced skydiver was killed after he crashed into a building at an airfield in the Moscow region. According to preliminary data the skydiver made a mistake in the determination of the height of the reversal and the end of the maneuver occurred at an unacceptably low altitude, an official told on twitter. The skydiver tried to correct a mistake and spun in the opposite direction, but the wrong landing place and crashed into the administrative building of the airfield. The victim died on the spot. Investigators are checking, interviewing eyewitnesses and officials of the airfield. In some disciplines the rapid decline with high horizontal velocities, when approaching the earth, reaches a speed of more than 100 kilometers per hour. |

What a lot of people don't realize is the amount of internal damage, and particularly intracranial damage! Just think of the organs smashing around inside during that instantaneous "stop!" And the brain itself smashing up against the skull, coupled with the "weight/pressure" of the force, both fore and against, etc. Instant death by trauma!  |

Angle doesn't really show much. Anything could have caused that...jumper fault or not. Tough to say.

Did you see how fast he hit that!? It’s no wonder he died. Hitting something that doesn’t move when going that fast is instant death! As ‘padraig flaherty’ said the amazing amount of internal and intracranial damage would have been tremendous and certainly would have killed him even if he made it to Hospital. |
