This site never ceases to amaze me. I never knew there were so many bizarre ways for people to die. This is just totally WTF. How could something like this happen. It's just incredible to see her skull sitting there with eyeballs intact, etc and it's just a scull and not her entire head. So bizarre! And so amazing to see!!!  |

It's pretty rare. Her skull became detatched from her spinal column... normally called an internal decapitation. Because her skull was also degloved (skin peeled off,) it popped out. I've only seem 1 internal decapitation in 28 years of ICU nursing. This is simply 2 terribly traumatic injuries combined to make a horrific spectacle.
