Looked to me like he took a pretty good impact. His speed was scrubed off quickly when he hit in the fence. I think he hit something pretty solid.

yeah, im pretty confident that they didn't realize the full extent of the skiers injuries, i do realize however, that the crash didnt look all that bad when it happened so its pretty understandable that someone would find it a bit humorous, but that has to fuck with a persons head, seeing an accident and laughing bout it.....just to find out they died a little later on that same day.......
