Skeleton of Missing Flooding Victim Found Stuck at V-fork Branch
The victim of the flash flood in Aceh Tamiang who had been missing for 4 to 5 months was found, only a skeleton hanging from a tree. The mystery of the disappearance of a resident of Langsa City during the flood that occurred in late November 2025 has finally been solved. After nearly 5 months of fruitless searches, the victim was found in a skeletal state on Sunday. The victim M. D. was 69 years old. The victim's skeleton was initially found by residents and then reported to the authorities. According to the family's statement, the victim often his garden. When a major flood hit Aceh Tamiang in late November 2025, he was suspected to have been swept away and got stuck in a tree trunk that was also submerged by the floodwater at that time. Despite being searched by family and residents for some time, the victim's body was not found. Police said the victim's family refused to have an autopsy performed on the body. The family chose to bury him directly.   |
