Your an idiot. Dogs did a much better job then the police. Why did all the cops go in to her house? So many? Only leads to a fuck up. That is exactly what happened at the end. A taser would have worked on that woman. Then have the dogs jump on her and keep her from being a tread. When the shit hits the fan, the police will kill you regardless. Only in America you would see such a thing. With all that body armour and training no one was able to disarm an old woman... It's funny how you people keep asking why didn't they taze her or try something else and refuse to acknowledge the extraordenary lengths they already went through to try to end this peacefully. The cops did what they could. They were there to serve an eviction notice and she answered the door with a fucking knife in her hand and refused to talk to the police in a manner that would convince them she's actually okay to be left alone.

The SGT. that got stabbed had the beanbag shotgun and was standing directly in front of her, to his right was an officer with a pepperball gun, and to his left and directly behind him was the K9 and 2 UNARMED K9 handlers. That's 4 officers directly in front of her with less lethal or nothing in their hands. They obviously wanted to try and disarm her first but she didn't give them the option. You really think a tazer would've been more effective than a beanbag shotgun when she's ducking behind the door like that? And what's body armour going to do if you get stabbed in the neck? You're not new here, you've seen how quickly people can die from an effective knife wound.

And not to turn this into a race/class thing but everyone knows this wouldve been handled differently if she were a crazy black man and not a crazy asian woman living in a place like that.
