I once saw a snow leopard while travelling through Dauria, which was puzzling because they normally don't venture under 8,000ft or so. I'm telling you this because one of the Mongolian guys who was taking me to the site I was working at shook his head and said "No good, the Ounce being out here. Someone will shoot her, because the uneducated farmers around here think she will steal a child's essence to take back to the mountain, and they know she will start picking off goats and sheep - which is true". So, my question to you is, do you have a badass snow leopard that can steal children's souls, or just a shitty regular leopard? |

Their bite can be quite nasty as well. One of my felines bit my mom (out of fear, he was literally a big pussycat) & it was bad enough she needed to visit the ER. She ended up with a couple stitches & a tetanus shot.
