Sicario Shoots Butcher Dead, Then Gets Apprehended by Victim's Co-Worker
Caldas, Antioquia, Colombia

A 42-year-old butcher, José F.P.M., was killed on the job by a motorcycle helmet-wearing sicario. The sicario pretended to be looking for directions to a place, before pulling out a gun and shooting José several times.

However, José's co-worker was able to hit the sicario from behind, and ultimately immobilized him until the police arrived. Furious citizens arrived at the scene and continued to try and hit the sicario. The sicario was arrested and taken to hospital with blunt force trauma to the head and face.

Another butcher had been killed in the same establishment a few days ago. The motive is still under investigation. I'd be surprised if it didn't have anything to do with extortion demands.
