Re: Sicario Road Hit-Didn't Even Have the Courtesy to Give Him Parting Reach-around
In the USA, if there was $$$ in it, our medical establishment (doctors) would find a way! For this guy, they would order a sleep study (probable sleep apnea), then months of expensive rehab. With luck, they would teach his brainstem sign language like Devin, the "gentleman scholah" (his mom's words) who took that bullet in the noggin. Oh, and hundreds of hours of 'grief counseling' must be billed for his friends and relatives by worthless female psychology majors that really should be dental assistants or prostitutes...

Re: Sicario Road Hit-Didn't Even Have the Courtesy to Give Him Parting Reach-around
A while back, there was a “financial obligation” study done on the quality of life of patients with anoxic brain injuries related to prolonged hypoxia, strokes, cardiopulmonary failure, etc. based on the severity of injury, patients age, and which type of long term care was used to achieve that quality of life. The financial burden exceeded $35M in some instances.
