I have seen the whole vid before. It was a riot situation, and he was a student. Wrong place wrong time. And yes rock salt can kill. Took him a long time to bleed out.

It was a hostage situation but he was one of the hostages. The police saw him run and didn't ask questions, just shot him. He was a student.

I saw this on the vhs tape banned from television back in the mid 90's and I guess that the story is that it was a hostage situation and this video is when the hostages had been released and they were running away and the guy that gets shot is thought to be the suspect because he has that back pack that I guess he was carrying cameras in and they had originally thought he had a gun in it.
