~Shop Owner Shot Dead~
Trinidad ~ A Pleasantville shop owner was shot and killed by a man pretending to be a customer at his place of business. The victim has been identified as KJ,36, of Mahogany. His 2 brothers, and a girlfriend of one of the brothers, were also murdered in the last 3 years. Around midday, KJ, who operated a parlour in front of his home, heard someone calling and went to attend to him. Video footage circulation on social media shows a man of dark complexion later paying for an item. As he turned to leave the shop, the man pulled out a gun and shot him several times. He then grabbed an item off the counter and walked away. Residents told police they heard gunshots and found him on the ground, dead at the scene. Police are still trying to ascertain a motive. |
