It happened Tuesday 28th, in Londrina, in the north of the state of Paraná.

The twenty one year old man was in jail for shooting two students dead in the Professora Helena Kolody State College, in Cambé, Paraná.

His name not released, was found in the early hours of the morning by his cellmate. The man had used a sheet, made a makeshift noose which he had tied to the metal grid above his cell. He then hanged himself.

Medical help was called, but when it arrived, the detainee was already dead, probably for a few hours. His family have been informed.
