Shooting at Mississippi Apartment
The Jackson Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened at an apartment complex.

Police say that shots were fired at the Sinclair Crossing Apartments on Bailey Ave just after 1 p.m.

The victim, 23-year-old Marquis Bell, was shot multiple times and succumbed to his injuries.

Police say Bell was sitting inside of a vehicle with R. Parker when the suspect, Landius Holmes, pulled into the complex and attacked Parker.

Bell went to assist Parker and was shot multiple times.
