Oh my gawd. I would so love to see the smear that made of that dude. Cause if you look, you'll see where the container grinds over the dude for a good couple of meters! Damn. Betcha whatever was left, was not even recognizable as human!  More like a mashed smear like when one gets after they've been particularly brutal with a cockroach under the sole of their boot! Oi! What a grizzly way to go out!Either way, in the U.S., these container yards are tightly regulated by OSHA. You'd not believe the number of safety courses and seminars we have to take, the videos we have to watch and material we have to sign off on, just to be able to drive onto these yards. F'n hell. Don't think any of that would have saved this poor dude, though. That was carelessness on the part of the fork lift driver, plain and simple. There is no guarding against human impatience and stupidity. |
