Severed Head of Murder Suspect Was Placed on Praying Statue
Ambalantola, Sri Lanka A 34-year-old father-of-three was shot dead and subsequently beheaded after three individuals stormed his house. Subsequently, his severed head was placed on a praying statue at a nearby intersection. Police further stated that the deceased had been a suspect in a triple murder case. He had been released on bail on March 30 after being held in remand custody. Investigations have revealed that the killing was carried out as an act of revenge for that previous murder incident. |
