Severed Head of an Indigenous Man Who Was Killed After Argument
Guaíra, Paraná, Brazil On Saturday morning (22), an Ava Guaraní indigenous man was found dead and decapitated besides a rural road, in Guaíra, near Brazil's border with Paraguay. His body was thrown into the vegetation, and his head hung on a stake made from a castor oil plant branch. The deceased was identified as 33-year-old Marcelo O., who went by the nickname 'Ku'i'. Three men, who were all also indigenous, were arrested on suspicion of murdering Marcelo after a fight between them. However, what led to the fight is unknown. |

Re: Severed Head of an Indigenous Man Who Was Killed After Argument
Where to indigenous people land on the spectrum of autonomy? Based on the title I thought I'd open this thread up and see some story that their entire village got together and decided to cut his head off. Instead he is getting arrested? Well either way, I imagine the administration of his will can be held at the next council meeting.
