Venezuela - This morning, a multiple traffic accident was recorded on 10 de Marzo Avenue, in La Guaira, several deaths and injuries were reported.

Through social networks it was learned that two trucks and three cars would be involved in the fatal accident. Likewise, they report that the incident occurred on Avenida Carlos Soublette in front of the José María Vargas Sports Center, in front of the 10 de Marzo buildings, towards Naiguatá.

According to witnesses, a truck ran out of brakes and lost control, subsequently hitting the rest of the vehicles. Similarly, Municipal Police officials and Civil Protection officers are on site to resolve this accident in La Guaira.

Minutes later, a video of the Secretary of Comprehensive Citizen Security of La Guaira, Andrés Goncalves, circulated, where he gives a report of the accident. The official explained that so far there are 5 deaths and 7 injured; However, one of the injured is the sixth deceased after entering the hospital.

As a result, paramedics are on site, the injured have been transferred to nearby health centers for care.

For his part, the vice minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Carlos Peréz Ampueda , confirmed the information through his account on X.

"People are reported dead as a result of the incident and the injured are being transferred to adjacent hospital centers. It is reported that heavy cargo transport lost its brakes, impacting five vehicles. Take precautions in this regard. SNGR on site attending to the emergency."

The deaths in the traffic accident in La Guaira, Av Soublette, would be 6 so far, were identified as:
