Seven Narco Terrorists Were Killed by the Cops
At least 7 criminals were killed today in an operation by the Civil Police in Baixada Fluminense, Brazil. According to the police, all were involved in the attack on the 60th DP Campos Elíseos on February 15. A task force went to the community on Rua 7, where intelligence information indicated that criminals were meeting. “Seven narco terrorists were neutralized, including the leader of the community, brother-in-law of Joab da Conceição Silva, the man who ordered and led the rescue attempt at the police station,” the police reported. The dead had not been identified until the last update of this report. Joab was still at large. Weapons, including 3 rifles, were seized. According to the agents, it was the first time that Comando Vermelho had held a meeting on Rua 7 since the attack. “The team waited until the end of the clandestine event to approach the suspects. The criminals attacked the police officers, and a confrontation ensued, resulting in the deaths of the seven criminals,” police explained. “Investigations indicate that all of them were involved in the criminal act. With today’s operation, more than 40 people have been arrested and 13 have been neutralized, all of whom had direct or indirect involvement in the attack”. “The work continues to capture all those involved.” Agents from the Narcotics Repression Unit (DRE), the Automobile Theft and Robbery Unit (DRFA), the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (DAS), the 60th DP (Campos Elíseos), the 62nd DP (Imbariê), the Special Resources Coordination Unit (Core) and the Intelligence Subsecretariat (Ssinte) participated in the operation. The 15th BPM (Duque de Caxias) provided support. According to the police, the ambush at the Campos Elíseos Police Station in Februari was an attempt to rescue 2 prisoners: Rodolfo Manhães Viana, known as Rato, who is considered the head of the Vai Quem Quer drug trafficking ring, and his right-hand man, Wesley de Souza do Espírito Santo. “Early in the evening, under the command of Joab da Conceição Silva, narco terrorists entered the police station in an attempt to rescue their accomplices, who had already been transferred to the headquarters of the Interstate Police and Arrest Division (DC-Polinter), in Cidade da Polícia,” the police reported at the time. At least 10 criminals surrounded the police station and opened fire. Four police officers fired back and managed to prevent the invasion. Two were shot. In the crossfire, the entrance to the police station was destroyed and the building had to be closed off and was reopened a month later. |

I will never believe anything Brazilian police publicizes. Most of the Brazilian police are criminals and work along the rateros. Old news.
