A Serious Accident Occurred This Sunday Morning (22) on BR-316
A serious accident occurred this Sunday morning (22nd) on the BR-316, on the road between Castanhal and Santa Maria do Pará, in northeastern Pará. The head-on collision involved a motorcycle and a truck and resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver. The victim was identified as Cleber Oliveira, 29. According to witnesses, he was riding a blue motorcycle from Castanhal towards Santa Maria do Pará when he collided head-on with an oncoming truck. The impact was so severe that it caused severe head injuries and brain tissue loss. Cleber died at the scene. The accident occurred near the tax office of the State Secretariat of Finance (Sefa), near a gas station in an area known as the "Texas Gas Station." Rescuers were called, but the victim was already deceased.
