I laughed for a few seconds as she ran down the stairs then my empathy kicked in & it suddenly became horrifying the notion that she was dying the slowest, most painful of possible deaths, in absolute agony. Yes, she was a bit of drama queen but what awful indignities she must have suffered (probably at the hands of her husband) to make her want to take her own life). Fuck India. One of the oldest cultures in existence & yet one of the most primitive. Shouldn't they have evolved instead of devolved & stagnating?
