Re: Self Immolation Suicide - She Changed Her Mind
FWIW, i've seen the footage of the actual moment she was lit on fire, and I'm almost positive she didn't mean to light herself on fire at this moment. The woman next to her lit a garment on fire that was draped over the railing, and the other woman, who had doused herself in gasoline, went up. It's possible she doused herself with no intention of ever actually doing it and uh... got burned... anyway. |

Bwahahahahahahaha! iFuckingCan't! Damnit! I'm laughing to hard to begin with, but reading this tidbit of info has got me in MFN*Stitches! Taught don't play with fire for a reason! It doesn't take a genius to realize shit will be AhBlazzzinnnn when youve doused yourself with gasoline, are wearing flowy layers of garments, and your pal is lighting up matches right next to you! |

Re: Self Immolation Suicide - She Changed Her Mind
fapfapfap Now I get it. The other vid didn't show this. The one who lit the garment didn't even get engulfed. Which is what it looked like in the other video. Now I also see that the one dousing the gas spilled some and left a trail. I see it now. That is how she got engulfed. Now it's not too funny, but still very dumb. They are teachers, safety first should always ring a bell. |

Re: Self Immolation Suicide - She Changed Her Mind
Water might not be a good idea in this case. I wouldn't throw water on someone who was covered in fuel anyway, she could go up like a chip pan. Cotton clothing would probably be the best option, fucking lots of it, and smother her completely. I'm no expert, it's just what I was taught to do when someone is burning. She needs to get off them steps aswell, too much airflow around her.
