happens often to people who think they are too good for seat belts... does not observe road caution and too proud to wear seat belts... no sympathy coming from where i sit.

As mentioned numerous times on this thread, yes, the man should've wore his seatbelt! However I propose a different criteria: was it the lack of a belt in usage, or rather, the "open window" the victim fell through?! Though no belt, if that window hadn't been put down, would he still be in this world?
