During the pursuit, gunfire emanated from Graziano's vehicle towards law enforcement. Attempting to maneuver onto Main Street via an embankment, Graziano's truck slid down, halting its course toward I-15. When the vehicle stopped, Savannah, donned in tactical attire and a helmet, emerged unarmed from the truck.

Surveillance footage captured Savannah crouching briefly before advancing towards a deputy who beckoned her. A gunshot was heard, coinciding with Savannah's approach, as the video obscured her at that moment.

Without body cameras, the department released audio from a deputy's belt recorder, capturing a deputy's plea to cease fire upon realizing Savannah, the passenger, had exited the truck. Despite immediate medical intervention, Savannah succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.

Anthony Graziano was declared deceased at the scene. Investigators discovered an array of weaponry and tactical equipment in the truck, including numerous firearms, ample ammunition, grenades, body armor, and helmets. The incident resulted in four sheriff's department vehicles being hit by gunfire.
